ABOUT
The Beginning
When I started my journey in 1/8th scale model railroading, I quickly realized there were no build plans or resources available for someone wanting to save a few bucks or have the satisfaction of building their own equipment. Rather than giving up, I set out to change that with the rolling stock and locomotives you see on this website today. Each of my designs were designed using a few ground rules:

#1 Make the build process as easy as possible for beginner or advanced builders;
#2 Design my models with the highest level of detail possible using common tools in the home shop;
#3 Remove as much guesswork as possible for beginner or experienced builders;
#4 Reduce cost for modelers while maintaining high levels of detail.
#5 Provide solid designs for every skill level.

There really is no way to sugar coat it. This hobby can get expensive fast. Being able download your files, shop around and have your sheet metal cut local to you is a great way to save money. Since there are no physical products, there is no shipping costs associated with building my equipment other than trucks, couplers, or other small things you may need. Shipping sheet metal for kits can be expensive, so this offers an alternative to those hefty crate and shipping charges you may see with a locomotive rolling stock kit. The money you save by having your metal cut locally can be put towards a set of trucks or couplers (or more trains) rather than paying for shipping on bulky sheet metal.
Who Am I?
I'm just a dude who is into trains, planes, and automobiles I guess. I've always loved trains ever since I was a kid, and backyard railroading has always been a goal of mine. Recently I started a YouTube channel doing the things I love. 3D printing and flying RC airplanes, designing and building trains, plus whatever else I'm interested in.

Its been a joy sharing my love of modeling with others. I hope my content on YouTube, and the designs on this site inspire others to design, build create, or at a minimum get in the garage and start building. I hope you find as much joy in this hobby as I have.
