1.6" 60' Gondola

THIS PRODUCT IS UNDER PROTOTYPE. IF YOU WISH TO BUILD THIS PRODUCT PRIOR TO RELESE, PLEASE SEND ME A EMAIL. (This model was designed in CAD, so in theory it should be error free. I will be assembling this car in the coming months to ensure no errors were made prior to release)
 
This 60' gondola is the perfect addition to any railroad. This car can be used to haul good around the railroad, do track maintenance, and also makes a great ride on car. 
 
The files you receive will let you choose what style gondola you wish to build. You will have the choice between a drop side gondola, or a strait bottom. You also will have the ability to choose to install a stamped corrugated end, or the more modern end. Files for all 40' variants are included in the download.
 
The frame and body are built using laser cut steel tab and slot style. The ribs and the top trim parts use .5" X.065" Square tubing. Grab handles and the stamped gondola end can be obtained from Precision Steel Car. I recommend purchasing their gondola detail kit. All holes for the details are designed into the model, so no guess work is needed when applying your grab irons, brake wheels, etc...
