25 Ton Switcher "The Critter"

In the never ending quest of keeping this hobby affordable and easy to enter, I thought it was time to add a small engine to my lineup. 
 
This 25 ton switch engine is small enough to fit in the trunk of a car making this the perfect option for someone who doesn't have the space to store, or a way to transport a large locomotive like the GP40. This locomotive is easily transported in the trunk of a compact car, since I designed the body to be easily removable from the frame.  
 
I designed this with cost in mind as well. I estimate the total cost of building this locomotive will be in the $750-$1000 range depending on how you set up your engine. This includes all motors, batteries, wheels and axles from Live Steamer Parts and everything else needed.  All parts are small enough free shipping and discounted sheet metal can be purchased and shipped to your home via Osh Cut or an equivalent online service.
