3D Printed Tender Tank Filler

If you are anything like me, you don't have a ton of extra time to work on your steam engines. Its okay. I get it. I designed this 3D printed tank filler just for people like you! While this tank filler is printed, when printed with the right material its incredibly strong and up for the job! I recommend printing this filler out of PETG or better. PA6CF is best for ultimate strength and heat resistance.

I will admit, it doesn't have as nice of a feel as an all metal filler does, but if you're looking to quickly get on the rails or don't care about the feel this is a great design for you. Once sanded and painted, you will never know it was 3D printed.

Included in the files is a drill guide to help you drill your mounting holes in the tender deck. The lid bolts on with a couple 3mm or 4-40 screws and you are good to go! As a reminder, I sell NO physical plans on this website, only digital files so that you can print and assemble your own tender fill hatch at home.
