3D Printed Auxiliary Tender Air Tank

This air tank was designed around the Allen Models Fitchburg Northern. The Fitchburg Northern features an air tank placed on the tender platform behind the tender tank. Instead of making my own out of PVC pipe and wood, I elected to design and 3D print an air tank of my own and add a little of my personal touch and detail to the design.

This air tank can be placed either on the tender deck, or on the top of the tender tank as the Rio Grande Southern did with their 10 wheelers. This air tank is a great way to introduce some detail into your steam engine tender without breaking the bank. Both sides of the tank have a 1/4" hole designed to accept 1/4" copper pipe to add modeled air lines if you wish. WARNING!!!!! THIS TANK IS NOT MEANT FOR ANY PRESSURE! IT IS ONLY MEANT AS A STATIC DISPLAY AND DETAIL PART!!!!!!
